Bayer is the company that manufactures and distributes Levitra and is made up of over 350 companies and employing over 93,700 people on five continents. Bayer Group headquarters is in Leverkusen, Germany but conduct business in countries around the world.

Friedrich Bayer was the founding father of the Bayer Group was Friedrich who grew up at a time when the textile industry was flourishing. Fourteen year old Bayer joined the chemicals dealer Wesenfeld und Co. in Barmen as an apprentice and it was here that Bayer first became interested in chemicals and how they work together. He realized early on that he could do much with manufacturing and thus his empire began. Bayer started with dyes but by the time the company had expanded he turned more and more manufacturing of drugs for pharmaceutical use.

The Bayer Pharmaceutical has been actively seeking answers for medical issues for more than 100 years and their researchers continue to discover innovative treatments for diseases and their financial commitment to research has increased in its desire to finding these treatments.

The integration of Pharmacy and Biological Products into a new Pharmaceuticals Division took place in 2006 and Bayer Pharmaceuticals has outlined their most important goals include establishing a new organizational structure with clearly defined processes and responsibilities.

Bayer announced plans to focus on development activities in their Hematology and Cardiology business unit with the start of Phase II / Phase III with the long-acting Kogenate FS formulation continuing to strengthen the goals in the further development of drugs.  The integration of Pharmacy and Biological Products into the new Pharmaceuticals Division has laid the foundations to continue success.
